Quick, unnecessary fixes will end up doing more harm than good since the fluctuations are temporary. Sit tight and wait for the update to crystallize.
  • Core updates aren’t hyper-specific. As their name suggests, they work on the “core”, i.e., they’re more broad than specific. Google’s overall ranking system will improve. You won’t notice any minute, small-scale changes. These updates are more macro than micro.
  • If your page drops, don’t assume you’re being penalized. This is not the case. As stated earlier, natural inclines and declines are to be expected. Your site and pages are being reassessed. Within a few weeks, the erratic curve (if there is one) will normalize.
